Description:  UP #2537 has had a interesting life before 1999. This unit started life as NYC #3076 a GP40, then became PC #3076, then it was CR #3076. Conrail then sold the unit to Helm. Helm then leased it to Up. and it became UP #860. UP #860 was then returned to Helm Financial, and rebuilt to a GP38-2 and leased back to UP as UP #2537 on 30th Dec. 1998.
